AOD furnace dust removal
AOD furnace (argon oxygen decarburization method) is an advanced technology for producing ultra-low carbon stainless steel and pure high-quality alloy castings. it can be used to smelt molten steel requiring ultra-low carbon (C<3%) and ultra-low sulfur (S<0.003%). the primary molten steel melted on electric arc furnace or medium frequency furnace is injected into AOD furnace through ladle, and 02, Ar or N2 mixed gas is blown during smelting to decarburizing the molten steel, with the addition of reducing agent, desulfurizer, ferroalloy or coolant to adjust the composition of molten steel, smelting qualified stainless steel products.
AOD furnace produces a large amount of smoke and dust during feeding, molten iron, smelting and tapping. How to trap the smoke and dust in the whole process and treat the high-temperature smoke and dust? Our company has designed the trapping smoke cover and cooling method according to the furnace condition: such as ring suction roof cover, double-sided suction cover, ring suction roof cover mobile top suction cover, etc.
